ERA-GAS is the  ERA-NET Cofund for monitoring & mitigation of Greenhouse gases from agri- and silvi-culture. The aim of ERA-GAS is to strengthen the transnational coordination of research programmes and provide added value to research and innovation on greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation in the European Research Area. ERA-GAS is initiated by the Joint Programming Initiative on Agriculture, Food Security and Climate Change (FACCE-JPI).

Full proposal stage started  

On 18 October 2016 the research consortia of the selected proposals received an invitation to participate in the second application step. The submission platform opened on 19 October 2016 and the deadline to submit full proposals is 19 December 2016, 14.00 CET.

Full proposal stage started 18 October

On 30 September 2016 the Steering Committee of FACCE ERA-GAS selected the pre-proposals to be invited to submit full proposals for the FACCE ERA-GAS joint call. The selected consortia received an invitation to participate in the second application step on 18 October 2016.

FACCE ERA-GAS Consortium Kick-Off meeting held on 29 September in Dublin

The FACCE ERA-GAS Consortium kick-off meeting took place in Dublin on 29 September 2016 and was organised by Teagasc, and chaired by Frank O’Mara, the project coordinator.

Joint Workshop on“Smart Mitigation of GHG in Livestock Production”

ERA-GAS, together with the ERA-NETs SusAn and ICT-AGRI 2 will organise a joint workshop 29-30 November to identify promising approaches to reduce GHG emissions in livestock production.
